BCFO was awarded a $5,000 Community Impact Grant from New York Life Insurance Company to support the O'Rielly Children's Fund.
Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks offers personal support and comfort in real and practical ways, providing support networks, mentor programs, and a full range of resources related to breast cancer. One in three applicants to BCFO's Client Assistance Program has children in the home. New York Life's gift to the O'Reilly Children's Fund will ensure that the unique needs of these children are met during a time of financial hardship for the family.
New York Life Insurance Company's Community Impact Grant program, which began in 2008, awards grants of up to $25,000 to local nonprofit organizations which are supported by New York Life agents, field managers and employees and address the needs of the community. One hundred and twenty-eight grants totaling over $1.4 million have been awarded since the program's inception.

| Working Together with Sepherd Hills Cutlery to Make a Difference - Wednesday, January 19, 2011

Shepherd Hills Cutlery of Lebanon, Missouri is happy to announce that---together with the support of their staff and customers---a contribution of $ 1000 has been made to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
Shepherd Hills commissioned W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery of Bradford, Pennsylvania to produce a Breast Cancer Awareness Trapper and a Breast Cancer Awareness Toothpick. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these Case knives provided the funding for the contribution. As there is hardly a life that hasn’t been impacted by this disease, we sincerely thank all who supported this effort.
Lanette Judy, who is a cancer survivor, longtime Shepherd Hills Cutlery employee, and an inspiration to all who know her, made the presentation of the $ 1000 check to Crystal Webster, Executive Director of the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, who on behalf of the Foundation, also accepted a Breast Cancer Awareness Trapper.
To join us and the BCFO in the fight against Breast Cancer and find out more about how you can be involved, please visit the website for the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks: www.bcfo.org
