Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks announces Assistant Executive Director

Springfield, MO. – Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks (BCFO) is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Gomez as Assitant Executive Director.

Gomez comes to BCFO from Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC) where he served as the Marketing and Promotions Coordinator for 10 years. While at OTC Gomez  assisted the College Director of Communications  with public relations and marketing development and implemented new communication strategies to increase awareness and enrollment for the college. Gomez is also the owner of Leo Productions a local consulting and event planning company that specializes in the organizing of music concerts, art festivals, charity events, and bands.

In his role at BCFO, Gomez will bring his diverse comunication expertise to develp and execute new marketing campaigns and promotions and manage the production and execution of special events. “The passion and dedication we have seen demonstrated for BCFO in this community is truly astounding,” said Crystal Webster, Executive Director of BCFO. “We’re excited to have Jason on board to continue the positive momentum and further build on BCFO’s abilities to make a real difference in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.”

Gomez comes to BCFO with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Evangel University and a master’s degree in education from Drury Univesity.
