Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks Announces New Trustees
SPRINGFIELD, MO. – Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks (BCFO) is honored to welcome new members to the Board of Trustees: Nadia Cavner, Virginia Fry, Rob Fulp, Bridgette Leonard, Patrick Murney, Nancy O’Reilly and Rosalie Wooten. “We feel privileged to have the wealth of experience, talent and vision that each new member will bring to the group and to the mission of BCFO,” stated Crystal Webster, BCFO Executive Director.
Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks is a local 501(c)3 not-for-profit agency serving southwest Missouri. BCFO is an organization of people reaching out to friends and neighbors who have been affected by breast cancer. BCFO offers personal support and comfort in real and practical ways, providing support networks, mentor programs, a full range of resources regarding breast cancer awareness, diagnosis and treatment, where to find related community services, and more. The agency provides non-medical financial assistance to those in need through the BCFO Client Distribution Program. BCFO offers early detection and increased survival through the BCFO Free Screening Mammography Program open to women who are uninsured or lack coverage for mammography; and relief from pain of lymphedema suffered as a result of breast cancer through the purchase of lymphedema garments for those without adequate medical coverage or finances.
