Houlihan’s-South Opened with a Bang for Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks
SPRINGFIELD, MO. – Houlihan’s-South presented Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks (BCFO) with a check for $6,943.79 on October 28, 2010. The funds were raised September 10th at a pre-opening event hosted in the newly opened restaurant. The evening offered guests the opportunity to sample a wide variety of selections from the menu in the newly built facility. Houlihan’s-South located at 2110 E. Republic Road, offers diners an extensive menu, ranging from chipotle-smoked enchiladas to filet mignon. One guest commented that the friendly, yet chic atmosphere and food reminded them of being in a cosmopolitan restaurant. While the ambiance was urban-inspired, the approachable and knowledgeable staff made each guest feel welcomed and at home.
Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks is a local 501(c) 3 not-for-profit. BCFO is an organization of people reaching out to friends and neighbors who have been affected by breast cancer. BCFO offers personal support and comfort in real and practical ways, providing support networks, mentor programs, a full range of resources regarding breast cancer awareness, diagnosis and treatment, where to find related community services, and more. The agency provides non-medical financial assistance to those in need through the BCFO Client Distribution Program.
