Laquey Lady Hornets Support Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks Tri-State Services
LAQUEY, MO – The Laquey Lady Hornets high school basketball team worked together to raise $2,057.45 and presented Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks (BCFO) with the check on January 18, 2011. T-shirt sales and a survivor walk were used by the Lady Hornets to raise the money, which resulted in a large overall donation to BCFO.
With the help of the Laquey Lady Hornets and other members of the community, Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks provides non-medical financial assistance to families impacted by breast cancer. BCFO also provides free screening mammograms through area health care providers, lymphedema garments, and other support services.
Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks is an organization reaching out to friends and neighbors who have been affected by breast cancer. BCFO seeks to reduce the physical, financial and emotional burdens of breast cancer on the communities served by the foundation. The support that BCFO provides comes from the help of individuals, businesses, and special grants.
