McDonald’s to Partner with Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks
SPRINGFIELD, MO. – Beginning September 3rd through September 23rd McDonald’s and Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks (BCFO) partner together in the “Sip for Hope” campaign. All 63 restaurants in the McDonald’s of the Ozarks region will donate 25 cents to Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks for every Real Fruit Smoothie-Wild Berry, Strawberry Banana, or Mango Pineapple- sold September 3rd through September 23rd.
The restaurants in the McDonald’s of the Ozarks region are independently owned and operated by local franchisees. The “Sip for Hope” campaign provides a way for the local franchisees to give back to their communities, one smoothie at a time. With the help of McDonald’s customers, area McDonald’s “feel good” salad and “Sip for Hope” smoothie promotions have raised over $111,548 since 2006 for local families impacted by breast cancer.
BCFO is a local organization that keeps every dollar raised in the community to provide help and hope for individuals and their families in the area who are and have been affected by breast cancer.
