BCFO Announces New Hires & Promotions
Welcome Crystal Webster, BCFO’s new Executive Director
Crystal Webster joined BCFO in January as executive director. She comes to BCFO with more than 10 years of experience in business, most recently serving as community consultant for Access Home Health and Hospice. Crystal is responsible for managing all aspects of BCFO’s operations including fundraising, event development, volunteer recruitment, education and awareness initiatives, financial management and distribution, community outreach and more. A graduate of Missouri State University, Crystal received her bachelor's of science degree in marketing research/quantitative analysis. She is currently pursuing her master's in healthcare administration at MSU.
Mary Beth O’Reilly, 12-year breast cancer survivor and founder and chair of BCFO, commented, “The passion and dedication we have seen demonstrated for BCFO in southwest Missouri is truly astounding. We're excited to have Crystal on board to continue the positive momentum and further BCFO’s abilities to continue to make a real difference in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship."
Welcome Jill Hodges, R.N., BCFO’s new Program Director
A registered nurse, Jill Hodges joined BCFO in January as Program Director. She comes to BCFO with 12 years of experience in nursing management, including serving most recently as case management nurse with Oxford Healthcare’s HomMed division. She is the primary contact responsible for implementing outreach and assistance programs including resource and referral development, educational and awareness forums, BCFO support networks including the One-to-One Mentoring program, and more. Additionally, Jill oversees coordination of The BCFO Client Distribution Program, offering non-medical financial assistance to those facing challenges associated with breast cancer diagnosis and treatment; The BCFO Free Screening Mammography Program, open to women who are uninsured or lack coverage for mammography; and the BCFO Lymphedema Garment Program, offering relief from pain of lymphedema (suffered as a result of breast cancer) through the purchase of lymphedema garments for those without adequate medical coverage or finances.
Congratulations Erin Brandt, BCFO Business Manager
Erin Brandt has been promoted from Events Coordinator to Business Manager with BCFO. Erin has been with BCFO for four years. In her new position, she is responsible for managing office and administrative services including accounting and bookkeeping. A 2004 graduate of Missouri State University, Erin holds a bachelor’s of science degree in business. While at MSU, she worked as the Front Desk and Building Manager for Plaster Student Union.
